Four propellers.
One airframe.

PROJECT TYCHOContact
TYCHO is our take on a high-speed electric drone. We are developing a compact airframe around four propellers, bringing aerodynamic shape, propulsion and onboard electronics together from the first CAD model.
Inside the engineering
A compact electric drone built around a slender fuselage and four motor pods. Every component has to earn its place.

The body has to make room for batteries, flight electronics and an FPV camera while keeping a clean aerodynamic shape.

Our next step is the first physical prototype. Assembly and flight testing will tell us what the next version needs.
The first version has a clear purpose: turn a working CAD assembly into a flyable prototype, then use testing to guide the next design.
A slender fuselage and compact motor pods keep the outer shape focused on high-speed flight.
Designing an airframe that can be fabricated and assembled, with space for batteries, electronics and service access.
Working through the motor, propeller and battery layout as one system, alongside the flight-control electronics.
Preparing the first parts for fabrication, followed by assembly, electronics integration and initial flight tests.
03 / DEVELOPMENT
Construction of our first prototype is underway. Flight tests are planned for November, followed by the next design iteration in December.

Aerospace students.
FPV experience.
We are a small, independent team in Munich, bringing together aerospace students at the Technical University of Munich and hands-on drone and FPV experience. TYCHO gives us a way to turn the ideas we study into something we can build and fly.
What excites us is how closely every decision is connected. A change to the shape affects the structure; the battery layout changes how everything fits. We enjoy working through those trade-offs together, from the CAD model to the workshop.
Our aim is to build, test and improve a high-speed electric drone, learning from each version along the way.
